Music

The Parish has a strong choral tradition stretching back over many years, although the choir is currently in the process of being re-formed following a recent period when it became inactive during Church Services. Notwithstanding this we have a small group of committed singers who lead the musical liturgy of the Parish. 

It is noteworthy to record that Mrs Margaret Dickinson has been St Mary's Organist for the past forty five years.

The question of the restoration of the Choir to its former position within the Parish will be discussed in the new year and further consultation will take place with parishioners to this end.
