Sacramental

At St. Mary's we have Sacramental Programmes in place to provide:

i) support to the primary school staff in the preparation of children to receive First Communion; and 

ii) guidance and assistance to those who are preparing to receive the Sacraments of Confirmation.

Members of our Parish Family who assist in this way are as follows:

We are in the process of developing Sacramental Programmes for: 

i) The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

ii) Reconciliation (First Confession)

iii) Marriage

An often unnoticed area of Sacramental Work is that of "Welcomers" - simply put, the act of Welcoming into the Parish or, indeed, into the church for individual Services. This is an informal ministry that is currently undertaken by Fred Wignall, again if you are interested in helping in this ministry please contact Fred.
